I installed the lxqt desktop with cairo-dock. Libnotify and lxqt-notificationd are installed, the daemon is running.
Then I tried to send a desktop notification using the bash command "notify-send". This works as well - but only once. After entering "notify-send" a second time, no notification appears on the screen.
command:
notify-send -t 5000 " " "Test notification"
journalctl shows the following entry:
Jun 09 19:49:26 arch64-t.rethmeyers.de lxqt-notificationd[568]: Notification "notify-send" urgency QVariant(uchar, 1)
Jun 09 19:49:26 arch64-t.rethmeyers.de lxqt-notificationd[568]: QToolButton(0x2115700, name="closeButton") does not have a property named "icon-size"
Test notification from lxqt configuration panel show up, also more than once.
What is wrong here?

It appears to be a Qt regression. I had the same issue and joined the upstream discussion below. The latest Qt update (5.6.1) should solve this, and it does at least on my machine (lxqt git master).

I can confirm that it works now on my system, too.
