Hello, guys!
After today's upgrade I got new version of libetpan, namely libetpan-1.7.2-1. After the upgrade trying to start claws-mail gives this message
$ claws-mail
claws-mail: error while loading shared libraries: libetpan.so.17: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
But checking shows
$ whereis libetpan.so.17
libetpan.so: /usr/lib/libetpan.so /usr/lib/libetpan.so.17
Downgrading libetpan to 1.7-1 makes claws-mail to work.
Anyone else experiencing this?
p.s. XFCE

No, claws-mail works just fine for me with libetpan-1.7.2-1 (on x86_64).

Are you sure claws-mail was updated too? What is the version of claws-mail? What does your pacman log show?

What is the output of `which claws-mail`?
Offline
$ which claws-mail
/usr/local/bin/claws-mail

So there's your problem, you're not running claws-mail from the repos. You're running something you installed manually and you need to take care of.

You are right. The moment I saw the result I remembered that I installed it manually. It was a long time ago. So I just removed it and installed it again. Same result, same output of 'which' command.

Have you installed it from the repos with pacman this time?
Offline
Yes, of course. I checked and there is claws-mail in /usr/bin and it runs fine. Thank you, Scimmia and mis!
