[Solved] mpv how to hide the bar with shows when press left or right

In MPV, when i press LEFT OR RIGHT button, it shows a white color bar with filled portion showing progress.

Its not the seek bar, which shows when you hover the mouse. (which shows time and many other things.)

SO how to hide that white bar.

Re: [Solved] mpv how to hide the bar with shows when press left or right

From the man page (I expect you'll want the bit at the end):

       --no-osd-bar, --osd-bar
Disable display of the OSD bar. This will make some things (like
seeking) use OSD text messages instead of the bar.

You can configure this on a per-command basis in input.conf
using osd- prefixes, see Input command prefixes. If you want to
disable the OSD completely, use --osd-level=0.

Thank you, I also searching for this! I added this to my mpv config file for permanent effect:

echo "osd-level=0" >> ~/.config/mpv/mpv.conf

you solved my problem too!
