[Solved] Package updated in archlinux.org/packages but not in repo

Hello everybody,

Speed Dreams 2.2.1 is out since a while, and I have requested an update for the Arch Linux package a few days ago, which was still on 2.2.0. The maintainer updated the package to 2.2.1, as you can see on https://www.archlinux.org/packages/?sor … =&flagged=. But when I browse the repos using Pacman, it displays the following:

dennis@Twee_tientjes ~ % pacman -Ss speed-dreams
community/speed-dreams 2.2.0-1 [geïnstalleerd]
A racing simulator with rich graphics and physics
community/speed-dreams-data 2.2.0-1 [geïnstalleerd]
A racing simulator with rich graphics and physics (data files)
dennis@Twee_tientjes ~ %

.
As you can see, it still hangs at 2.2.0. Why can't I update to 2.2.1?

Your mirror is out-of-date...

Have you updated your pacman database? If so then your mirror isn't up-to-date yet, try a different one.

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan

When I selected a world mirror instead of a Dutch mirror, I suddently had 25 updates worth 1,4 GB of download. Thanks for the quick response!
