installation guide shows here different partitions for root, home etc... while many videos in youtube shows installations only with one partition and another for swap is it necessary for separate partitions for installation??? thanks in advance

The only partitions that are required are the root partition and an EFI system partition if you have a UEFI system.

No. I recommend that you follow the beginners' guide rather than the installation guide. The partitioning section states that you only need one partition, except when using UEFI, where you need two.

Partitioning is largely personal taste. Schimma (as usual) is absolutely correct.
You should decide if you want a swap, and if so, whether you want a swap file or a swap partition. Swap partitions are handy if you want to ever hibernate your machine (not to be confused with sleep)
You also should decide whether you want your home directories on the same partition as root. That works just fine. But, if you ever want to reformat and reinstall root, having home on a separate partition makes that easier. You can just remount the old home partition on the new root.
And please, be wary of random Youtube videos. They are often wrong, outdated, misguided, or represent a single use case.
Edit: All those posts ^^ were not there when I started typing. More coffee.

I always make a /home partition in case something brakes to reinstall (or change) the system without worrying for data loss.

I prefer / and /home. No swap (if 4 or more G of RAM). My use is rather straightforward- email, working with documents and graphics, audio and video streaming, surfing the web, databases, web dev, etc., etc; no extreme gaming, P2P file sharing and so on. I should also note that my machines are BIOS and MBR.
