Google Hangouts via command line (using purple-hangouts + bitlbee)

I have been trying to enable Google Hangout using bitlbee (irssi as irc client). I'm struggling to get it to work. Has it work for anyone?

$ bitlbee -V

Creating a Hangout account

I'm not able to get it to validate via oauth.
