Can't get DWM to launch Spotify in 2nd tag group

I've compiled dwm from source and added the following to config.h:

    { "Spotify",  NULL,       NULL,       2,            True,        -1 },

For whatever reason, spotify continues to launch in window 1.

I've verified that other changes are working, for example I changed the Mod key, recompliled, and relaunched and that worked. 

Anyone seen something similar?

          Welcome to the forums, i don't use spotify but i do use dwm, try replacing '2,' with '2 << 0,'
and recompile.
If that doesn't suffice could you post the output of xprop/spotify using code tags.

Pretty sure there are other threads here (probably from two-three years ago) where spotify doesn't properly set a class/name.
