For some time I notixed that decrypting on my haswell i7 laptop with 16GB RAM took as long as on my Nexus 6.
Decrypting on windows was very fast.
I did some checks and noticed that KeePass on Arch only decrypts with 1 cpu instead of 8 (or atleast more than 1).
Is this a bug or do I have to change options some where? It makes decryptinf a lot slower

Do you really mean KeePass? Decryption takes only one second on my desktop over SMB.
Same on the OnePlus One.
There is KeePassX, that doesn't have a MS Framework dep.

Yup talking about KeePass which also uses mono.
On Arch it takes around 3 seconds to decrypt.
On Nexus 6 it takes around 3 seconds.
On Windows it takes around 1 second.
And as I said: I am noticing that on Arch only one CPU is used (at 100%) while on Windows all 8 CPU's are beeing used.
Also, it depending on "how strong" you encrypt the db, it will be faster/slower.
