exim:Warning: No server certificate defined; TLS connections will fail

After upgrading exim to 4.87, exim's paniclog is filled with the following messages:

2016-06-18 12:57:46 Warning: No server certificate defined; TLS connections will fail.
Suggested action: either install a certificate or change tls_advertise_hosts option

What is the remedy to this? Do I need to generate a self-signed cert? Or uncomment the line

# tls_advertise_hosts = *

in exim.conf? What is safer?

Thanks.

Albert.

I'm having the same issue.  Were you ever able to get this solved?

Re: exim:Warning: No server certificate defined; TLS connections will fail

Changing the line

# tls_advertise_hosts = *

to

tls_advertise_hosts =

seems to solve the problem.
