MPD keeps being muted by ALSA/PulseAudio

Very strange issue. It didn't happen usually, but now, MPD playback will just mute itself, or it is muted by PulseAudio. It occurs when using ALSA output, or PulseAudio output.

I use the MPD daemon, with the NCMPCPP client, and it all worked absolutely fine until yesterday.

Any ideas?
