So, I've decided to do a long and tedious project where I list a bunch of file systems and collect a bunch of data on them so they can be easily compared in the future. I mean, there can't possibly be too many file systems, right? right?? *starts crying*
Anyhow, obviously there's just too many of them and it's a little painful thinking about which ones are actually decent and worth recording if I personally haven't even used many of these. So, which files do you use/believe are worth recording data about/believe may be used either now or someday in the future? And maybe if you're nice enough, you'll maybe post some stats about them too?

You could have a look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_system to start with. Also, any information you think is worth adding might also be added there

Do you plan to record more data than is already in the wiki?

And have you seen this? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compariso … le_systems

I've seen both, but I plan on adding more information, such as whether or not the FS records the mac address of the computer which last modified the file. I might actually modify some of the Wikipedia/wiki pages so it includes the information as I'm recording. Right now, I'm focusing on the Microsoft-developed file systems, and expanding into Linux territory.
