[SOLVED] low temps but fan always on

I don't know why but since yesterday my laptop's fan is always on, it never stops even if the temps are low:

$ sensors
acpitz-virtual-0
Adapter: Virtual device
temp1:        +14.0°C  (crit = +120.0°C)

coretemp-isa-0000
Adapter: ISA adapter
Physical id 0:  +35.0°C  (high = +84.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
Core 0:         +35.0°C  (high = +84.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
Core 1:         +33.0°C  (high = +84.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
Core 2:         +31.0°C  (high = +84.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
Core 3:         +33.0°C  (high = +84.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
cat /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone*/temp
14000
36000
$ uname -a
Linux r4 4.6.3-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Jun 24 21:19:13 CEST 2016 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I know this has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything useful on the cases I've found. I'd really appreciate any help. Please let me know if there's any other info I'd need to post.
Thank you!

Details about your laptop would be helpful. Also, check if there is any relevant setting in the EFI/BIOS.

Thank you for answering, x33a. My laptop is a banghó max g01 i7 (http://www.bangho.com.ar/notebook-max-g01-i7/p), I'm from Argentina. I'll check my BIOS, though I don't know what I'm looking for.

I would start by checking if you see the same problem with linux-lts, as this might be a problem triggered by a software bug.

That said, you might want to check if there are any bios updates, as those sometimes fix weird problems. I would start on the page you have linked to, search in the driver area as it seems common for manufacturers to put bios update in there.

I would also try check if your laptop is a re-branded/barebones machine, as you might be able to get a bios update directly from the manufacturer, _however_ be very careful and check for any reports of problems about updating to a bios directly from the manufacturer, in case of doubt don't update.

Re: [SOLVED] low temps but fan always on

I couldn't find anything realted to the fans in the BIOS. It doesn't have many options. Btw, uefi is disabled.

If it's any use, my BIOS version is 1.03.07RPC2.

I've tried booting from a LTS live-usb, but the fan is always spining loud and high. It never comes down, it's like that since I turn on the computer.

It is, indeed, a rebranded machine. It's built from a CLEVO, but I can't find which is the original model. So I don't know how to check if there's any BIOS update. And I'm up to date according to bangho.com.ar website sad Any other ideas?

Re: [SOLVED] low temps but fan always on

This was solved after an update. I don't know exactly which was the cause of the problem, but I'm still using the same kernel, so that's not it. Weird. Anyway, solved.
