Hello. I had a PlayStation2 some years ago with some games but the memory card and controllers have broken.
Today I wanted to emulate some of my games in my PC.
I got two problems with the PCSX2 emulator:
1. No audio works. Just sometimes it works (and I don't know when).
2. The disk inserted into the PC is read from Arch (i.e. mounted, can see its files and folders) but PCSX2 can't find the ROM. When I try enabling Linuz ISO CDVD plugin it gives me an error in the log:
File is not a PCSX2 pluginPath: /usr/lib32/pcsx2/libCDVDlinuz.so
Some kinda plugin failure: /usr/lib32/pcsx2/libCDVDlinuz.so and when I start a game it segfaults. I can't figure out what type of error that is.
Joystick, video and anything else works with no problems.

Sorry, sound solved by installing lib32-alsa-lib and lib32-alsa-plugins. Disk can't still be read, but I solved making an iso file from it:
sudo dd if=/dev/cdrom of=~/game.isoLast edited by altermetax (2016-07-05 14:27:35)
