ibus-x11 crashes.

I'm trying to setup ibus with XIM, in order to use it with Emacs, xterm etc.  At first it seems to work fine,
bringing up the input bubble, but hitting enter to finalize a character completely crashes ibus-x11 and leaves
the application hanging. This occurs with both Emacs and Xterm.

I don't recall having these issues on another computer (also running Arch) some months ago. Is there something
obvious I'm doing here that is wrong. Here's the backtrace.

Never mind. Turns out case in /etc/locale matters. 
Spooky how often this "issue" occurs.
