XGL Window decoration - way of keeping kde decorations?

I really like the 'glow' window decoration that comes with KDE, and it irritates me that installing XGL forces use of gnome window decorator, thus changing the window decorations. :?

It's a shame David Reveman was a gnome user tongue

Is there any way of using glow with gnome window decorator?

compiz is a window decorator, you can't use metacity(gnome) window decorations in gnome neither.

XGL is the subsystem, compiz is the WM, and gnome window decorator is used, is it not? Otherwise the fact that it's used in every XGL tutorial out there seems mighty silly smile
