Hello.
So as the title says, I am unable to reduce system font size. I have a Nvidia 970M, and I used nouveau as a driver until a week ago.
I had a few problem with the HDMI (when I connected it, it crashed and I had to use the MiniDP), so I switched to the official NVidia driver. Now, all the fonts became huge, and I am really unable to resize them. I read the wikia about fontconfig, but I'm having difficulties understanding it. The only thing I want is to reduce the font

Which desktop environment or window manager are you using?
I use this method:

Sorry for the delay in the answer but I've been pretty busy. I'm using awesome, by the way, and I really can't figure this out

What exactly do you mean by the system font size and how are you trying to adjust it? Did you try Head_on_a_Stick's method?

I know I didn't answer on this post for a while (well, maybe too much), but before trying Head_on_a_Stick suggestion, I found the solution to my problem: I edited the xorg.conf adding the following
Option "UseEdidDpi" "FALSE"
Option "DPI" "100 x 100"
Again, sorry for not answering before, but I completely forgot. I'm leaving this here in case someone finds this useful!
Thanks to anyone

You haven't changed the font size; you have changed the resolution. There is a difference.
Please remember to mark your thread as [Solved] by editing your first post and prepending it to the title.
