As shown in this video, whenever I launch Crypt of the NecroDancer the game plays at an abnormally high rate with highly staticky music (note that the video doesn't represent how it sounds when actually playing the game - there, the sound is still super staticky but it's not popping in and out). Changing pulseaudio's resample-method to speex-float-10 as shown here changes this so that instead of constant static there's mostly silence with a few snaps occurring every second. Any ideas why this may be happening?
