An AL review on Newsforge. Nothing terribly different from recent reviews. Still, it's good to keep giving AL the credit it deserves.

On striking thiong is Arch is the only distro I have seen in distros that has not got less than 8 on 10. Lets oblige. Arch is THE DISTRO.

To be honest, the reviews from the My Desktop series are going to be overwhelmingly positive.
No one will write, "I picked MyNewOSix and it was really poor, but that's why I've kept it and love it." I've you've installed it and kept it, and then taken the time to write about it, let's face it, it's going to contain a certain amount of praise.
Now, I'm not trying to undermine the positive reviews for AL - heck I've written one myself for OSNews, but they tend not to be that objective.

The guy who wrote this review was active on the Arch Mailing List, he tries to add some sort of security team and security mailing list to Arch. From his previous comments, I am not surprised that the review is positive.

What can I say, it's a good distro, and one that I felt so compelled to actually write about and get involved.

I'm sure that's common knowledge, however I think it still goes to say that my attempt to write a public article is to give high-praise to the project and the team, and by attempting to get involved further helps the cause.
In any way, Arch is a great distro!
