Split PKG - Daemon and GUI in same PKG

Should the following split package be two separate packages?

https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/peercoin

It contains both the GUI for the peercoin daemon and the actual daemon itself. They look like they should be two separate packages but I'm unsure and would like to check with the folk here before I file with the maintainer/submitter.

If they both build from the same source, they're fine as a split package.
