Hello community,
since the updates of Qt to 5.7, Qt applications like keepassx, teamspeak3 or texmaker are extremely slow, almost unusable. It seems, like there is an input lag of 1 to 2 seconds each action (e.g. clicking on a menu item or editing text).
I configured the gtk2 style for Qt apps (via qt5ct).
$ qtchooser -print-env
QT_SELECT="default"
QTTOOLDIR="/usr/lib/qt/bin"
QTLIBDIR="/usr/lib"
I'm using Xfce 4.12 if that's relevant.
Any hints? Thanks in advance!
R.

I just found this thread: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=214147&p=3
It looks good, I have not read all of it yet…but it has some good hints, for example I get transmission-qt working again with:
1) Install qt5-styleplugins or qt5-styleplugins-git
2) Install qt5ct
3) Set environment variable in /etc/environment QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=qt5ct
5) Start qt5ct and select breeze

Somehow my problem disappeared. Although I'm not sure, I guess, it's related to a recent system update. Also I uninstalled qt5ct.
