[CLOSED]Dualshock PS3: Disable accelerometers

Hi.
I've been trying to use my Sony PS3 dualshock controller with steam. Unfortunately when using the standard bluez plugin the accelerometers are enabled which makes it very difficult to set the controller mapping in steam.
Is there a way to disable the acc's ? Or a way to bind the mappings in steam editing a .cfg file instead ?

Much obliged.

What do you mean by "setting the controller mapping in steam"? Are you trying to configure the DS3 with the Steam Controller's GUI?

Yeah, the GUI in steam big picture atleast. It shows up as a proper playstation controller and I can control the GUI with it. But only click on stuff and cancel/go backwards.

Ok. When connected via usb cable everything works peachy, even the button mapping is good.
It's just when using it via bluetooth it acts a bit wierd and forgets the button mapping.
And using KODI it works like it's supposed to, so maybe it's Steam that is the problem here.

Ok. So when connected to USB the dualshock appaers as js0 and symlinked to event# and js# in /dev/input/by-id and /dev/input/by-path
It doesnt do that when connected over bluetooth, only appear as /dev/input/js0.
Could that have anything to do with it ?

It's a problem with steam itself. Tried a few other distros including SteamOS and it's the same
