When I try to download the mirror, genymotion will quit after a few seconds, without any errors.

Strange is that the root will not run the identity of the error

I am experiencing the same issue. When I click download it begins, gets 3-5% (sometimes less), and the genymotion crashes.

I had similar issue using older version of virualbox in my ubuntu trusty. After upgrading virtualbox to 5.1.6, I no longer see this issue.
