I wanted to give claws a try but running it leaves me with "Illegal instruction (core dumped)".
Running claws-mail with valgrind gives me:

I even built claws myself to make sure to unsupported instructions are used in the binary but this does not change anything.
I have a i5-2410M, never touched mircocode.

Ok, I can answer this myself. The coredump revealed that I am missing an AES instruction (which probably is supported after a microcode update). But for now it is enough to disable nettle's aes assembler support.

Do you not have the microcode updates installed and configured?
