[SOLVED] AMDGPU + Linux 4.7 + latest linux-firmware = vis corruption

Don't know if it's just this specific combination, but with linux 4.7, latest firmware in [core], and AMDGPU driver I get corruption and eventually the system hangs after logging into Gnome. I'd file a bug, but since I'm not using (and can't test with) the latest stable arch kernel on my GPU, I figured it'd be better to just leave a warning here.

I have the following software installed:
Linux 4.7 (from kernel.org, no patches applied, config from /var/abs/core/linux version 4.6.4.
Xorg/mesa/drm-git from testing & xorg-git (lcarlier)
core/linux-firmware 20160730.6bc2c60-1

GPU is an RX 480 (Polaris10):
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Ellesmere [Polaris10] [1002:67df] (rev c7)

With the previous version of linux-firmware (20160516.80d463b-1), everything is fine. Here's my dmesg logs[0].

Update:
linux-firmware 20160730.6bc2c60-1 (core)
linux 4.7-1 (testing)
Appears to be working fine. Must have been something out of whack in the kernel that I compiled.
