I already wrote that on the corresponding talk page: I am experiencing way better sound when using OSS instead of ALSA (using ALSA OSS Emulation of course).

Am I the only one?

Of course I have dmix set up like told in the wiki..

Maybe you aren't alone, i heard same stories in debian.
anyway my alsa driver works fine here.
