[SOLVED] No audio after upgrade (before reboot), HDMI

I reactivated the internal sound card, removed .asoundrc and tried with headphones but no luck. Then I gave up and now for no apparent reasons the sound is back, very strange and worrisome. I have been deaf for several days now. smile

So I updated Arch and no audio output so i tried to reboot and then also to turn of the internal sound card that I had turned to access the microphone. But since I have this from .asoundrc, the only thing I'm aware of modifing when it comes to sound, this had no effect.

pcm.!default {
  type plug
  slave {
    pcm "hw:0,7"
  }
}
ctl.!default {
  type hw
  card 0
}

Alsamixer shows no muted channels, and speaker-test or aplay produce no visible error. Everything seems to think everything is fine. The volume of the TV is also turned up and no mute.

Here follow some more info that might help, I don't really know how to begin solving this...

aplay -lL
