[SOLVED] Webcam microphone (connected to rear panel) PA problems

Today I switched to pulseaudio having previously used pure alsa.

Installed: pulseaudio, pulseaudio-bluetooth, pulseaudio-alsa, alsa-plugins

Everything works, except for my webcam microphone (always) connected to rear panel. It worked fine with previous configuration. In pavucontrol it is listed as disconnected. Tested it and no stream is recorded. The headset microphone connected to front panel works alright. Actually this is the reason why I don't use pulseaudio (I tried once but had the same problem).

Note: All settings are on defaults, I only added:

### Automatically switch to newly-connected devices
load-module module-switch-on-connect

to the /etc/pulse/default.pa.

Let's get the low hanging fruits first, have you already tried switching between all three of the possible source ports? If you can't switch between them in pavucontrol because they are marked as unavailable

pacmd set-source-port alsa_input.pci-0000_00_05.0.analog-stereo $PORTNAME

should do the trick. Can you post

amixer -c0

as well?

I'm not sure how or why this happened, but it works now! I did the system upgrade few times, perhaps that helped (kf5-frameworks). Anyway, thanks for help.
