I am sorry for the dumb question but i am missing quite a lot of knowledge. I have no idea what is Xorg dont know why are there 5000 drivers for Ati. I know that FGLRX works good for me. In manjaro installation was easy but here i cant understand the process.
So my question is: i am currently with testing repo enabled, kernel 4.7. All is updated. I want to install best driver for my 7790. I would prefer the beast i know so FGLRX is with priority. What should i do?I know that AMDGPU/-PRO may be better option but i know that its not ready for other distros than *buntu. Radeon driver is crashing every time i try to play so also not an option(power management is also bad).
Thanks in advance!

fglrx is usually referred to as Catalyst .
i am currently with testing repo enabled, kernel 4.7.
If you want to use catalyst with few problems :
disable testing repo and switch to linux-lts ( catalyst has problems with newer kernels and very few people are able to patch catalyst to solve those)
accept you'll be stuck at xorg 1.17.x FOREVER
accept you'll never get a new improved catalyst version
read https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xorg and post "lspci -k" output so we get an idea what hardware your system has.
Also read https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/ATI & https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AMD_Catalyst
Then tell us which driver you want to use.
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

I wish I had followed this. Linux 4.7 breaks catalyst and now I have to figure out how to downgrade my system.
