Hi guys,
since few weeks (maybe a kernel or udev-upgrade) i can't sync my palm with my computer.
Correct group membership "tty"
<code>
$ id joerg
uid=1000(joerg) gid=100(users) groups=100(users),5(tty),10(wheel),92(audio),93(optical),95(storage),101(scanner),102(camera),104(vmware)
</code>
The kernel recognizes the device correct

Udev loads the correct modules
<code>
$ lsmod | grep visor

usbcore 116256 7 visor,usbserial,usblp,ohci_hcd,ehci_hcd,uhci_hcd

and creates the right devices and symlinks.
<code>
$ ls -la /dev/pilot

</code>
<code>
$ ls -la /dev/tts/USB?

</code>
The only difference to former udev versions is that there are no /dev/ttyUSB0 or /dev/ttyUSB1 anymore. Know they are /dev/tts/USB?.
Everything seems to be correct. But [k|g|j]pilot are not able to open device and connect to them. Any ideas or hints?
Thanks in advance.

Are sure you're using the latest udev.rules, and don't have a udev.rules.pacnew sitting in your /etc/udev/rules.d folder? I sync fine with jpilot using the latest kernel and udev.

It's the newest udev and kernel version. What device are you using? /dev/tts/USBx?
