[FIXED] How to stop volumes showing up in nautilus?

Hi, in my nautilus favorites panel, all my mounted hd volumes show up (screenshot). They also show up on the desktop if I let nautilus show mounted stuff. How can I stop this errant behaviour? Permanent stuff like that shouldn't be shown.

I think I heard somewhere on the forum that you had to change some HAL-config file - try searching the forums for it.

EDIT:I Belive it was this one: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php? … ume#151064

Hmm, thanks jaboua, that looks like texactly the sort of thing I'm looking for, the problem is I don't even have those /etc/hal/fdi/policy/ files, even though hal is installed. I'll try just writing them now and see where that gets me smile

EDIT: Worked a treat. Thanks again, jaboua.
