Hi, as the title indicated I recently started to notice that the system tray icon for dropbox is missing. I have dropbox-cli installed and can confirm that dropbox is running. If I stop the daemon of dropbox and manually launch the dropbox, the icon is still missing.
I have libappindicator-gtk2, libappindicator-gtk3 up-to-date.
Sometimes, if I log off my user, then log back again without restarting the computer, the dropox icon appears. It does appear that when computer is rebooted, for the first time logging in, there is no way to let the icon appear, neither by autostarting or manual starting...
UPDATE: I want to update my post that after several experiments I found that as after a fresh restart of the computer the dropbox icon is missing, I only have to kill plasmashel at first then launch it again to make the dropbox icon reappear, so logging-off and logging-back-in is not necessary. This is of coz not a solution but a much more acceptable workaround before anyone identify and correct this issue....
Anyone has similar issues with dropbox? Thanks.
