a start job is running for sys subsystem-net-devices-wlp2s0.device

Problem: wifi is not working on Asus F200M. This happens now after upgrading arch. The Fn+F2 does not turn off anymore the wi-fi. The led is turn-on.
During the boot I get the message

a start job is running for sys subsystem-net-devices-wlp2s0.device

This remain for 1.30 minutes.

What card? Driver? Versions? Journal?

Re: a start job is running for sys subsystem-net-devices-wlp2s0.device

You could try:

# systemctl mask sys-subsystem-net-devices-wlp2s0.device

You may also have to `mask` the PCI address-based unit file as well, check the exact name with:

systemctl --all | grep wlp2s0

EDIT: This is a workaround and presumes that the wireless card is non-functional (broken).

Or do you mean that you want to get your wireless working?

Sorry, it's probably the latter isn't it?

Silly me...

Yes of course, sorry, I just got a bit confused there.

Does the card show up in the output of `ip list` or `lspci`?

Does the connection work if you load up the Arch live ISO image and use:

wifi-menu

:qNow it is start to work ... Really dont know why. Out of despair I bought even a new USB TP Link TL-WN823N wireless adapter, which by the is not working (!!) and it will be the subject of a new thread. Anyway this is the output of
