Hi everyone
I use simplescreenrecorder to record my screen. I have been playing and recording a game in Steam called unturned for about a year now with no issues. However this weekend all the footage I recorded was jumpy. This has never happened before.
No settings in the game or simplescreenrecorder have been changed so I haven't got a clue what has happened. I have tried changing settings in simplescreenrecorder and unturned to see if it sorts it out, but I'm at a loss.
Simplescreenrecorder uses ffmpeg as the backend so I just used ffmpeg in terminal to see if the same issue persisted and it showed exactly the same problem.
Anyone able to help???
Cheers

I don't know, but I do notice that "ffmpeg" was updated on 2016-08-27.
If you revert to the previous package does it record like it used to?

Good thinking... I'll give that a try in a bit

Ok, solved it. I did some more investigating today, and the choppy recordings looked very much like when I did basic screen recordings of previous games that used opengl. So I tried the opengl setting in simplescreenrecorder and it worked perfectly not sure what has changed.... But sorted
