Hi, i have for several months a problem with the Battle net launcher under wine. I have no internet connection in the Launcher causing me some serious problems. Anyone have any idea how to fix this? The error is the following,
fixme:ras:RasEnumConnectionsW RAS support is not implemented! Configure program to use LAN connection/winsock instead!

Maybe the wine AppDb battle.net installation guide helps ?
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

Actually it doesn't friend. To get rid of that i just found out that i have to disable rasapi32 in the libraries..but anyway i cant get battle.net to connect! This is so disturbing, if i use sudo it opens up right away, if i dont it never does. Even if i use the exactly same library overides it doesn't. I ve been trying to fix this for hours so i can play some WoW but no hope..

Never run wine applications as sudo/root user, you likely borked your prefix, retry with a fresh prefix.
And you should usually only apply needed DLL overrides to specific applications, so that whatever else you run isn't broken by that.

Yes i know that, but thing is, i haven't understand how the prefix works. i mean, i modify winecfg, and start an application, how can i make a new prefix? For another application to use? I execute all my games and "heavy" apps from the terminal because i have a hybrid laptop and need to start manually the graphics card.

So.. create a new prefix and install the game there?

Yeah, for some reason wine doesn't let battlenet connect to the web.

FWIW I usually don't bother with battle.net and just use the standard gamelauncher, works fine if there doesn't have to be an update

What if you have to install the game?

FWIW2 I just did this yesterday, works just fine with the overrides mentioned on battle.net's winehq page applied to the Battle.net.exe as opposed to the Battle.net Launcher.exe
