Konsole wrong tab name bug?

After the most recent updates to the plasma packages I am now seeing what appears to be a bug in the konsole tab name in the following circumstances.  If I open a new konsole window then it will have a single tab with a name "mike:bash" which is correct. If I then ssh into another machine, say machine-2, as root then the tab name becomes "(root) machine-2" as expected.  However if I logout from machine-2, the tab name becomes "mike:bash" as it should, but if I then ssh into machine-3 as root then the tab prompt becomes "() machine-2" which is certainly not correct as I would expect it to be "(root) machine-3 and any subsequent ssh sessions to a remote machine then always gets the same "() machine-2" name so it seems to get stuck with the name for the first machine that is accessed from the konsole window via an ssh connection.

Has anyone else come across this issue, or am I alone? It is not a major one but could lead to confusion if a number of tabs are open and interrupt workflow.

Re: Konsole wrong tab name bug?

This is a regression bug in konsole 16.08.1, there is already a thread about that: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=216923

Re: Konsole wrong tab name bug?

Thanks - hopefully this will be fixed for KDE Applications 16.08.2 release on the 13th October, and I presume there is an upstream report about this that will trigger a fix by the next release.

Edit: I searched for an upstream report and found: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368785
