[Solved] Startup skypeforlinux in tray

I'm trying to start skypeforlinux in the tray.
Skype itself does not seem to have any command line parameters to do this, I tried the ones available in the Skype legacy version, but without success.

So I decided to install devilspie, and use the following script to close the application.
But now I cannot open Skype, because devilspie automatically closes it. I need this script to be executed only at the start of the application, how can I do this?

; generated_rule skypeforlinux
( if
( begin
( is ( application_name ) "Skype for Linux Alpha" )
)
( begin
( close )
( println "match" )
)
)

Re: [Solved] Startup skypeforlinux in tray

I was not able to do this with devilspie.
So I made the following script, that uses xdotool to close the window.

#!/bin/bash

/usr/bin/skypeforlinux

sleep 1

# Close window
if [[ -n `pidof skypeforlinux` ]];then
    WID=`xdotool search --name "Skype for Linux Alpha"`
    xdotool windowactivate --sync $WID
    xdotool key --clearmodifiers ALT+F4
fi
