Allegro CL vs LispWorks
Which one is better to use?
I removed my sig, cause i select the flag, the flag often the target of enemy.

well if you can really only use one of the two use allegro. otherwise use sbcl because it has some of the important features allegro has, but its free.

or you can use slime
I actually used both AllegroCL and LispWorks...wasn't impressed by either
can you just use slime and emacs without installing sbcl or something else? i know there is emacs lisp but i heard it is not exactly compatible with common lisp. found that out after i got a book on emacs lisp...

also there is cmucl(Public Domain/MIT).
