Just upgraded to emacs 25.1 from the repos. Apparently it was compiled without xwidgets support, which is one of the cool new features of 25.1. Anyone know if there was a reason for this, or if I should put in a bug asking for it to be enabled?
EDIT: well, I compiled it myself and it segfaults when I try to use xwidgets-webkit, so maybe that's an indicator.

ran into the same problem.

Up. Same identical problem.
By looking at the error log, it looks like emacs starts a thread, passes some wrong argument to pthread and then crashes

So for the moment there is nothing we could do to to use xwidgets?

I also have the same problem. I have been unable to build an emacs 25.1 using --with-xwidgets that does not segfault when I try to use xwidgets-webkit. I tried the emacs-git AUR package and that seemed to work OK (version 26.0.50.r127174).

I am using spacemacs with emacs 25.1, not sure the emacs 26.0 from AUR package works with spacemacs correctly. So decide to still waiting.

I just installed emacs 25.3.1 from pacman and there is still no xwidgets support.
