[Solved] Slow boot with btrfs

Hi All,

Maybe this is a tip since I was googling a lot before finding this. My btrfs filesystem was booting slowly and competing with systemd-remount-fs.service and systemd-journald.service. This may be because I have opt, var, home as subvolumes.

Anyway, I found that adding an option to my fstab "x-systemd.wants=systemd-remount-fs.service" sped up my boot by an entire minute. Just posting this in case it's helpful as it answered my own question!
