Xonar DG sound card no mic detected.

I have a Xonar DG sound card and was trying to use my mic in discord today, but nothing seems to detect any recording devices.  I have a headset plugged into the card (not the front panel) I have installed alsa and pulse audio and i can hear sound out of the speakers on the headset.

arecord -l
amixer -c$cardindex of the card from aplay -l or similar
pacmd list-cards
pacmd list-sources

So that we get something with which we can attempt to help you. I'm fairly certain that none of the backports contain any mic capabilities though, you might have to plug them into the front panel (and switch the multichannel control in alsamixer to Headphones/Headphones FP)
