[SOVLED] Enabling Apparmor in custom kernel causing issues

At the moment I'm running a custom kernel 4.8rc8 with Apparmor as extra security.
Unfortunately I have a lot of issues, like audit spamming in dmesg, hanging applications, some DVB usb-issues - module is unstable, but it prevents recovery.

Is this normal? I'm I doing something wrong?
I have installed everything as describe in the Apparmor Wiki.

Is it really necessary running something like Apparmor/SELinux to protect my setup? It seems to be recommended on a lot distro's, Android is using SELinux, etc.
I have chosen Apparmor because it doesn't need a lot of configuration/deps.
SELinux also has a lot of issues, no easy configuration, etc.

Upgrades fixed the issues.
