Re: Xfce graphics issue

Don't worry, you are using the correct driver. The kernel only knows i915, it is for all Intel integrated graphics. Mesa and xorg differentiate between i915 und i965 but your output shows that i965 is used. Everything fine on that end.

also notice the graphic and txt are all big and block like

Sorry, I don't see that. It looks normal to me. Try playing around with your appearence and font settings, maybe you find something nicer. Xubuntu comes with a preconfigured desktop, on Arch you have to do all this from scratch which can be a little time consuming. But you said you tried Gentoo, so you should know that.

I can't get it to display my resolution correctly

I see the black bar on the bottom. Can you use this space, e.g. moving windows there? It could just be that your background image is smaller than your resolution and you haven't set it to stretch. xfdesktop-settings allows you to modify this behaviour.
Btw: The typical resolution is usually 1366x768, not 1366x766 - is this a typo?

This was just a type O.. I can't get anything to display lower then that black bar either its like a dead zone.. gentoo and Dm take advantage of the whole screen I have tried stretching the screen and everything nothing seems to go below.. there.. its like xfce is running in 4:9 ratio instread of 16:9

Re: Xfce graphics issue

Is that not the xfce4 dock/taskbar area? try:

kill xfce4-panel

and see if that recovers the screen space. Post back with the result.
