New 0.7.2 Gimmick ISO burned and has swap fail in boot-up

During the boot-up sequence, a FAIL indication occurs referring to SWAP .

Is this a serious problem with the CD burn from base ISO or can I ignore it.???

System boots OK into KDE, needed to add ...snd-usb-audio to rc,conf modules to enable USB audio.

Added.... gimp-print package....and was able to use KDE printer setup to enable my Brother1440 printer to run correctly wirh ...HPljet4 driver.  Indications are that KDE uses gimp-print and cups to enable the printer .  I use usb mode

Posting from new install via 0.7.2 CD.

Cool show for arch! big_smile

Re: New 0.7.2 Gimmick ISO burned and has swap fail in boot-up

The following is the fstab generated by the install of the 0.7.2 gimmick CD.....
=======================================================================
#
# /etc/fstab: static file system information
#
# <file>        <dir>         <type>    <options>          <dump> <pass>
none                   /dev/pts      devpts    defaults            0      0
none                   /dev/shm      tmpfs     defaults            0      0

/dev/cdrom             /mnt/cd   iso9660   ro,user,noauto,unhide   0      0
/dev/dvd               /mnt/dvd  udf       ro,user,noauto,unhide   0      0
/dev/fd0               /mnt/fl   vfat      user,noauto             0      0

/dev/hda3 / ext3 defaults 0 1
/dev/hda1 /boot ext2 defaults 0 1
/dev/hda2 swap swap defaults 0 0

/dev/hda3 / ext3 defaults 0 1
/dev/hda1 /boot ext2 defaults 0 1
/dev/hda2 swap swap defaults 0 0
=======================================================================

It is probable that the dual entry of /dev/hda elements causes the boot-up FAIL.

Is this a bug in the gimmick program?

I will remove the extra entries and reboot...report back..

EDIT:  Removal of duplicate /dev/hda entries was successful in eliminating the boot-up swap FAIL message.
