Hello everyone, I'll go straight into the problems.
1. When I start the Minecraft launcher (a Java Swing application) in KDE, the used theme is the default Swing one, don't know why. Using the tricks for changing the Swing theme to gtk won't work.
2. In the Minecraft launcher fonts are not correctly rendering.
A screen with both the problems:

On the same Arch install, with GNOME running, everything works.
Thanks for answers.

I know nothing about Minecraft’s launcher, but in general to get GTK L&F, if it’s available, you should select it explicitly by setting property “swing.defaultlaf” to “com.sun.java.swing.plaf.gtk.GTKLookAndFeel”. As for the fonts, try playing with “awt.useSystemAAFontSettings”.
If neither of them take any effect, then probably the authors of the application hardcoded settings that suit their own computers.

That is true, they hardcoded everything. When the Minecraft launcher loads (with a white screen with text and a scrollbar on the right), the scrollbar gets the theme you chose. Once the launcher is loaded, all of your settings are ignored. My answer is: why does it work well with GNOME/Cinnamon and not with KDE/Xfce/MATE(gtk2)/Lxde?

You can use 'swing.crossplatformlaf=com.sun.java.swing.plaf.gtk.GTKLookAndFeel' as noted at https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ja … ookAndFeel
Here's how that looks on my KDE system: http://imgur.com/sG7LZvQ

Thank you very much, that worked for the theme. But I still can't figure out how to solve the fonts problem.

Okay, just found the solution to that, too. Changing to [SOLVED].
Thank you very much!
