Hallo everyone,
new here and new in general with Arch.
I have a problem when trying to install Arch in a new HP Pavilion 15ab207nv (with Windows 10 on) - lptop details in the end of the message.
When I try to boot from Arch installation usb in order to install it, I get non-stop error message for a specific pcie port..
The messages begin when loading the installer and right after - root@archiso: apears - they are comming every 4-5 seconds NON-STOP.
here is a screen photo from it after I typed the command : lspci

In the device manager of windows shows this device :
Intel(R) 100 Series Chipset Family PCI Express Root Port #6 - 9D15
Is there any way to stop the messages and bypass this, so I can proceed to the installation of Arch ?
Is this a compatibility issue ? Will I have problems after installation ?
(I am asking because there was ONE time that I tryied booting with the NOMODESET command and the error did NOT appear. But after that it appears every time, nomodeset or not)
and last question, what is that pcie for ?

Well, as to getting on with the installation, you could change to the second console using Ctrl-Alt-F2. But, the error will still be spamming the console and log.
I would be interested in seeing the output of lspci -nn

I understand the pasting of the picture of the boot screen, but for the lspci output (and all text output in general) you should post the text, not a picture of the text.
You will want to use a tool like wgetpaste if you have not reached the point where you have a working browser.
Edit: From what I can read of that picture, I don't know what the next step is. I'd be curious as to what happens after you install Linux and update your system to the latest kernel. If the problem persists, we may want to try the lts kernel.
