Would having both Cinnamon and Gnome installed on the same system at the same time create any issues in terms of configurations, double entries in the menus, libraries, themes?
Would going back and forth between them be possible with retaining individual confs or certain configuration in one would be persisted on the other? It is my understanding that Cinnamon and Gnome share a lot, so I am thinking maybe it will create some problems, but hopefully I am wrong.
I currently use Cinnamon as my DE and I am thinking of giving the new Gnome a try for my daily stuff(have already checked it out in a VM) but I would like to retain both options for the just-in-case scenario.
