After uninstalling chrony, the 'chrony' user created during package installation is not removed. I've seen same issue with git also.
This came to my notice because I had to manually look at /etc/passwd after pwck complained about some missing directory.
So, what do you guys think of this issue, and how to deal with it?
Other than users and groups, can there be other modifications to the system which are not undone on package uninstallation?

Not removing users & groups created during package installation is intentional.
If you want to know more ,search archives of arch-dev-public and related arch mailinglists.
Other things that are not undone : Any changes to user folders
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

Thanks Lone_Wolf.
I'd read archives to know more about this.
