[CLOSED]Gnome can't change brightness.

Gnome shell is unable to change brightness through rop-right controls.

I can change it by

tee /sys/class/backlight/radeon_bl0/brightness <<< [num]

though.

How can I debug this issue to see what's the problem?

EDIT: It started working after installing some package (maybe from gnome-extra but not sure), so I mark this as closed

Please do not use the tag [CLOSED], that indicates that one of the moderators have closed and locked the thread.  This is not the case.

Please use [SOLVED] instead.  Thank you.
