The GNOME session isn't automatically started by GDM after the update to 3.22. ‘AutomaticLoginEnable=True´ and ‘AutomaticLogin=username´ are present at ‘/etc/gdm/custom.conf´.
How can I configure GDM to address the problem?
Thanks.

# sytemctl enable gdm.service

The service is already enabled but doesn't automatically start a session.

You tried to reinstall gdm?
# pacman -Rns gdm
and then:
# pacman -S gdm
and
# systemctl enable gdm.service

GDM works fine, but the problem is I can't configure it to start a GNOME session without prompting me a login/password beforehand. I wonder, does anybody have the same problem?

I had the same issue after the update.
Uncommenting the "WaylandEnable=false" line in /etc/gdm/custom.conf fixed the issue.
I don't have Wayland working on my machine (UEFI boot, GeForce GTX 580, using nVidia proprietary), but I haven't taken the time to look into it.

Xabre, unfortunately not. Probably, it has something to do with Wayland, since it starts an X session perfectly fine.
