Trouble with stepmania and alsa.

Hi, I tried to install stepmania from the pkgbuilds in the aur, pbut everytime I run it (doesn't matters if it's the stable release or cvs, I tried with both) it has this error with alsa:

The 'funniest' part of it all is that all the programs are using alsa and working fine, even flashplayer can use alsa with mixing and everything. I stfw, but I didn't find anything on how to fix it, it has happened to more people though, and one of them said he fixed it, but didn't say how
please help me (if something doesn't make sense, it's because I'm tired and my back aches)

try maniadrive thats not a bad game either..

but the reason you get the error is cause some other program is using the device
so i dunno make sure nothing is usuing /dev/dsp when you run the game
